Powder Springs, Georgia
Greetings in Christ,
My name is Rochelle Focaracci and our family has been working to share pro-life concerns about Girl Scouts USA for the last 6 years. Our efforts have included launching the website, www.GirlScoutsWhyNot.com, as well as exhibiting at many national pro-life events including those listed below:
March for Life Conference & Expo in Washington D.C. 2015 and 2016
Students for Life of America National Conference 2015
2015 World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia, PA
Bringing America Back to Life Convention 2015
2016 Pro-life Women’s Conference
National Right to Life Convention 2012, 2013, and 2014
As an exhibitor at the above conferences, we have been blessed with the opportunity to share documented facts and educate many uninformed families about Girl Scouts' collaboration with and financial support of pro-abortion organizations and activists. We have worked alongside many other groups with similar concerns across the US to spread this important information and we are confident that our combined efforts have contributed to the sharp decline in GSUSA membership over the last several years.
We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a booth at the 2017 March for Life Conference & Expo and the 2017 East Coast Students for Life Conference, both taking place in Washington D.C. at the end of January of 2017. We will also be traveling to California to attend the Walk for Life and the West Coast Students for Life Conference in San Francisco. As an exhibitor, we will have national visibility, enabling us to share our concerns with even more families and clergy. We are very grateful for this amazing opportunity to be an exhibitor at these upcoming national prolife events.
Over the last six years our family has funded the majority of the costs to participate in these events in our efforts to spread the truth about Girl Scouts and their relationship with pro-abortion advocacy groups as well as promoting well know pro-abortion individuals. We are very committed to this important mission and have no plans to slow our efforts going forward … however … in exhibiting at previous prolife events over the last 6 years, our family has personally taken on the financial burden of this work and to date have spent approximately $18,500 from our own family budget. The truth is, I am preschool teacher, my husband is an asset manager. We can no longer continue to fund these efforts alone.
As a 2017 March for Life and Students for Life (east and west coast) exhibitor, hotel, travel, rental car, food, materials (posters, flyers, rack and postcards), as well as cost of lost wages at work will total about $5,700. Would you please prayerfully consider helping us with a donation for this important venture?
Most importantly, we please ask for your prayers for this mission and for all the faithful who are working to protect children and share important information with families across our nation.
Thank you for your consideration and support!
